Deep Space 5 is a Celestial class Starbase, assigned to Task Force 21-C "The Guardians" in Obsidian Fleet.
This sim is a PG-15 rated Play by SMS / Web/ E-mail(PBW/E) roleplay sim based in the Star Trek universe around the time frame of the Star Trek: Nemesis movie. We do not currently endorse the AU in which the destruction of Romulus occurs.

Let me begin by saying welcome to another 2 new players:
Our new Chief of Security, Lieutenant Tom Rodriguez who will be taking over whilst Dorian is on suspension. Also thanks to Andrea for stepping into the breech.
Also, our new Strategic Operations Officer, Ensign Stone Robatsch.
Give them both a very warm welcome.
To help things along, our current SD (Station Day) is 57.
Where are we with the plot: Communications are down to minimum levels. That is , craft outside DS5, but in close range, no comms with Starfleet or out of the immediate area.
Commander Dunham and Lieutenant Petro are out in the Pollux, investigating.

Please welcome aboard, Lieutenant JG, Lyhse Sullivan, who will be in charge of Ship repairs and the Maintenance bays on DS5.
You will also no doubt, notice that I am quite slow to respond lately and I have to apologise, but with the London Olympics a few weeks away, I have been extremely busy back and for to London for meetings with the Olympic committee and stuff and I will be very busy for the next few months.
During the Olympics, I will have very little time to give to DS5, and though I won't be taking an LOA, I am afraid I won't be around much, until after the Paralympics, 2 weeks after the closing ceremony.
Feel free to include me in any JP, I will do my utmost to respond, but I know you will all tick over nicely!
